Linen texture paper as we know it began to appear in the late 19th to early 20th centuries. Paper manufacturers sought to create a
refined, elegant texture that resembled linen fabric. Linen texture paper features a subtle, embossed pattern that resembles the weave of
linen fabric. This texture adds a touch of sophistication and tactile quality.
