Submitting Your Files

1. Make sure files are given in hi-res or press quality
    PDF file.

2. If you have a front and back, make sure they are
    both on the same PDF as page 1 and 2.

3. For two sided, make sure you use top to top.

4. Avoid any borders or frames. Too close can risk being
    cut-off. Since cutting tolerance is 1/16th, borders
    may look uneven.

5. File must have 1/8" bleed. Text must be within  1/8"
    within trim marks.

Important

Do not give us crop marks or blue lines. Our system automatically aligns them.

Below is a mock-up of our typical template.
The same principle is for postcards, brochures, flyers, etc.
If you need a template on an order you have placed, just ask us, we will be glad to send you one.

On all of the above, make sure to convert the fonts to outlines or curves, since we may not have them.

How can you achieve a solid black?

For text we recommend 0, 0, 0, 100 (C, M, Y, K)
For back grounds use 30, 20, 20, 100.

Have can you achieve a good blue?

We recommend keeping you Cyan and Magenta values atleast 15% difference. Any less tends to shift blues towards purples.

How about MS WordŽ and MS PuslisherŽ

Well those are very unstable according to our team. We don't generally know when the fonts don't match. So if that is the only choice you have, we suggest that you send the file and also send us a JPEG or any image to verify that we see the right thing. For Microsoft save up to 2003 version.
